  • A Proper Picnic

    Patricia MacDonald

    (, April 30, 2015)
Where a picnic takes place is just as important as the food choices. A blanket on the living room floor is not a picnic. Neither is lunch in the back yard. In a child's world, a picnic requires a car ride, grass and perhaps a few ants. It's not a proper picnic without a proper picnic basket filled with proper picnic food. The only vegetable that is allowed is watermelon, the State Vegetable of Oklahoma. A picnic would be much more authentic if it were help in close proximity to a body of water. Children instinctively know these things and this verse will help those who don't.
